"Freedom Through Truth For Service"

Welcome to Augustine Classical School

We are an emerging cottage school in Rochdale and aim to set up a full-time school in the near future. Our teaching is based on Classical Christian Education. We are committed to providing faith-driven education that equips students to serve Christ, Church and society. Our educational philosophy is deeply rooted in the historical Christian and Classical tradition, and follows an approach that has shaped people for centuries in the past.

Mission

At Augustine Classical School, we aim to offer a low-cost, high quality education with a rich learning atmosphere, clasical liberal arts curriculum and formative Christian practices.

We want to cultivate individuals with wisdom, eloquence and Christian virtues to enter various fields as salt and light (Matth. 5:13-16).

We want to support families in providing their children with a Christian education and seek to influence society and the nation through a diverse, organic, and vibrant Christian community—one that is deeply rooted in the triad of family-school-church.

Vision

For Christ

The purpose of Christian education is not primarily for personal excellence, but for the glory of Christ and the benefit of the church and the country.

For the church

The main hope for the future of the church and the country lies in the education of the next generation. Christian education is the responsbility of the church, the family and the community. The church that ignores the this responsibility will inevitably die out.

For service

We use the means of Christian Classical Education to lead students to experience truth, goodness and beuaty. We believe that through this education, students will be a light and blessing to the entire nation.

Our Core Values

  1. Back to the Roots

We draw from the rich heritage of classical Christian education, reviving the wisdom that shaped Christian civilizations.

  2. Bible based education

Education should form the whole person nurturing faith, intellect, and character in children as image-bearers of God.

  3. Virtue

True education isn’t just about knowledge—it’s about developing moral character and learning to love what is good and reject what is evil.

  4. The Great Conversation

Students engage with the greatest books and ideas in history, building deep wisdom through Scripture, theology, philosophy, and literature.

Q U O T E
